MATERIALS – Handwoven Kala cotton, yarn-dyed in a brown stripe. Kala is an indigenous, rain-fed cotton from the Kutch region of Gujarat, grown without irrigation or pesticides, with a slightly coarse, textured hand that softens with every wash. Because the yarn is dyed before weaving, the stripe is woven into the cloth rather than printed on it. Finished with shell buttons.

GARMENT – A classic collarless button-front shirt with a relaxed fit through the body and sleeves. Clean and simple, so the handwoven stripe can lead. Worn on its own, or as a light layer under a jacket or knit.
