A kimono styled work rooted in the colours of the earth, shades of brown clay and khaki earth. Using a rounded block, following a geometric pattern is made with all natural colours and features a kimono-style form with natural finish. The contemporary approach of block print and dyeing the Kala involves primitive utensils made from wood and using the index finger to create intense markings which fade with movement to create the symbols.
