Moreu Moreu
Handwoven Indian Cotton
The Moreu symbol in contrasting colours sits juxtaposed reflecting the dark and light. The graphic pattern, printed in Kyoto, which translates to 'spiral', is made with all natural colours and an opposing form with natural finish. The material has a light and tighter weave, giving a smooth paper-like feel which is comforting to the skin. The contemporary approach of block print and dyeing, involves primitive utensils made from wood and using natural dyes with resist to create deep impact with little.
